  9. A:  Most of our developers will be moving away from the optical as a standard distribution device towards floppies.  Many vendors will go with 1.44Mb floppies initially because they are more common.  But as the 2.88Mb disks become more widespread they will start using them.\

  11. Q:  What happens to customers who only have optical drives?\

A:  Each software developer is handling this differently.  Some are manufacturing a small supply of packages with opticals and charging more for them and some will transfer over the files to an optical if the customer pays for the cost of the optical, currently $150.  So if a customer has more than two packages they want transferred over, they might find it worthwhile to buy a floppy drive instead.\
